BDCells Credit Philosophy
BD Cells is a wholesale battery warehouse, dedicated to fresh, rapid, quality, battery delivery, to facilitate your customer’s business. We know that your customers are what drives both of our business, and so we provide a high quality product at the lowest possible prices everyday. This has attracted some unwanted activity, and these policies are here to mitigate those attempts. We are here to support you with the freshest batteries, quickly, with minimal hassle, paperwork, time, accounting, etc. However, we must do so without going broke ourselves or the point is moot. Due to recent events, we no longer extend corporate credit accounts of any kind. We can’t, we have no recourse. Third party credit, oversight, and enforcement allows us to keep pricing low enough to do business with you in the first place. We choose to do business, and hope you do too.
So what do we do about it. BD Cells takes credit cards for just about any size order, and if you want to set up an account, we acquire a bank letter of credit. Your business banker has a vested interest in watching your propensity to pay business debts. Your banker is in the business of loaning money, even for short term situations. In addition, they have the account oversight and access to monitor your situation. So your banker is far more qualified to extend to you credit. BD Cells doesn’t have bank account visibility or enforcement wings like your banker does. To hire these personnel would further, and negatively, affect battery pricing. BDCells (wholesale) and BDBatteries (retail) have developed this credit standard to allow all parties to operate in a clear and concise business and legal environment. How do I set one up? Your bank is willing, should your business have adequate standing, to guarantee your debts, called a letter of credit. The bank has the right to rescind your letter of credit when they see fit. Simply approach your banker, come to agreement on the size of your guarantee, and you have a line of credit. Send us over the documentation, your business information, sales tax information, and we would be happy to set you up a wholesale account today. Once you have your wholesale account set up, we will add you to our mailing list, send you pricing, and get you started. Next we suggest purchasing a few battery blanks in lieu of a small inventory to ensure battery freshness. Should you be preparing to move larger numbers of batteries, promotional materials, brochures, displays, and other information is available for your locations. |
